“We appreciated the convenient location to the STL arch and downtown attractions. Our room was in need of updates and cleaning. The staff were very accommodating. The breakfast was excellent. I think this Hampton location probably needs to renovate some of their rooms. I'm willing to admit that we may have just gotten one of the rougher rooms. It's not easy to manage a hotel.Once again, the staff were very accommodating.”

“Unbelievable. Check in time was 3pm I arrived at the hotel at 3:30pm. When I arrived a nice guy checked me in and took my payment. Soon after, that’s when he shared that my room was not ready and that it would be ready within the next 20 min. At first I was a little annoyed considering I had small children with me and we had just took a long drive. But I agreed that if it was only 20 min then it was fine. I return to my vehicle after receiving a key card to enter into the parking lot ( which is a small little lot on the side of the building … $40 dollars a day by the way) . Long story short. I sat in my vehicle for 2 hours before I called and ask them was my room ready and they said it wasn’t. At that point I went into the lobby and asked what was the problem . Short staff, late check outs, ect. I understand things happen but this is unacceptable. I went so far as to ask how much longer would it be if I waited more…she said she honestly didn’t know. At that point I asked for my money back. (No problem) and went some where else.I booked this hotel because it was close to downtown, the arch, and the pool for my children. Even tho the staff was nice and understanding that shouldn’t be the only qualities to a Hampton Hotel. The only way I’ll ever try and stay here again is if it’s my last choice. Very disappointing.”
