“This is an absolutely beautiful hotel. It was definitely worth the stay. We stayed in an accessible room. I used my forearm crutches most of the time but in the chair everything was in reach for wheelers. The room was beautiful and spacious so there was plenty of room for maneuvering in the chair and on crutches.
There was a major accessibility issue we ran into here though- the front doors are locked (this is good security) so you have to buzz to get access. The problem is the buzzer is really far from the handicap button. The person on the other end of the intercom at the buzzer unlocks the door - then you have to make it to the handicap button to press it before the door locks again. It wasn't possible. There was no one at the desk when we arrived so we waited in the cold for quite some time before someone made it to the intercom to answer, then we went back and forth trying to get the door open via the button. Finally we wrestled bags and wheelchair manually through the door. Not an easy thing to do and not a great first impression.
On check out, they lost the matching valet slip to our car so a 10 minute wait turned into an uncomfortable 45 minute wait.
The hotel is beautiful but the service really needs work. I won't stay again but I won't dissuade others if they want to see what's been done to the old post office.”

“We took the Amtrak and arrived close to midnight, but they were there to serve us 24 hours a day. Being just across the street from Union Depot was a big plus. Our kids spent hours in the pool. The staff was always responsive to our needs, whatever we asked. Breakfast was yummy. Hot eggs, sausage, potatoes and waffles or french toast”
