We stayed here for our honeymoon and had the best experience. The rooms are beautiful,.clean, comfortable and quiet a perfect place to relax after walking all day. Staff was incredibly helpful and kind. We loved this hotel for the location as well. Great location to shopping on King Street. Everyday we would walk to downtown Charleston (about 15 min to the point) and explore the city. Once or twice we did take our car out to the islands but the majority of our stay we walked and really felt like we got to explore more that way. The hotel restaurant and bar were phenomenal. Can't wait to return.

Such a great experience! The room was so quiet and we slept well. There are outlets directly next to the beds so you can charge your phone right next to you. Complimentary water bottles in the hotel and in the hotel gym (which is a great facility as well). Clean and smells amazing. Aveda products in the bathroom. Did a late checkout which I greatly appreciated. Fast easy valet service. (Expensive but worth it) The location is right on King Street so it’s perfect for shopping and eating. Overall I’d absolutely stay here again!

A good not great hotel with a couple of issues: 1) like all Renaissance hotels, the bathrooms show the age of the hotel. Renovate these! 2) a hotel of this quality and price should have a full breakfast restaurant, not a snacks/handhelds shop. Yes, there are good alternatives off-site within a couple of blocks, but these are no good when the tropical storm rains are falling. Appreciated the staff service and the extras offered in the lobby each night. A fair choice for Charleston close to King St.

Great location, friendly staff & excellent valets who really hustled. Room was clean, large and very comfortable, with a variety of pillows to rest your head. The Handy & Hot cafe serves tasty treats. Didn’t get a chance to try the restaurant & bar (closed on Mondays). The DumDum display & artwork by the elevators was cool and fun, as was the bunny wallpaper in the bathroom (which could use more counter space).

What a wonderful hotel. Everything was perfect. The staff was very nice. Dana was a great Navigator. She helped us with reservations and helpful tips. The hotel Is in a great location. Everything is no more than a 10 or 15 minute walk (or less). The coffee shop was also very convenient. We appreciated the upgrade since we had two teenage boys and the extra room space was awesome. I have to mention the valet staff. They were fantastic. Always polite and quick.
