“The hotel is spectacular with beautiful amenities, however, trying to get assistance to find safe dining options for my food-allergy kiddo was clearly an inconvenience for them. I asked at the time of booking on Feb 23 to get the form for food allergies. It did not come. I sent a follow-up email a few days later but did not receive a response. I called in the first week of March to request the form and was assured it would come. It did it. Fast-forward to our check-in on March 16 and I was assured by the concierge I would receive it imminently. It did not come. On March 17, I received an automated email asking how our stay was going and chose to provide feedback about the form. Finally, I got a phone call that evening (late enough to wake up a sleeping 3 and 5 year old) to start the ball rolling. It’s now March 19 and I’m still trying to figure out if we can safely take our kids out for a nice meal. Concierge desk informed us that most places are almost fully booked, so I’m not holding out much hope. We picked this place based on stellar reviews of other travelers that allergies would be well-managed. I’m disappointed. Thankfully, we’ve got a full kitchen and have been able to safely cook all our meals.”

“Stayed 5 nights at the Reef in an ocean view room at the end of the hall. The second morning we woke up to a floor full of water. The hallway had standing water in it. They moved us up several floors only to have the same thing happen again. They comp'd us $100 for the first time. We just dealt with it the second time. Spent our time on the beach anyway. The view was great, the room was pretty good, all the food in the resort was outrageously priced. Overall we had a good time. Probably won't come back to the Bahamas.”
