“Beautiful hotel, but the rooms are bit too small for my liking. Smaller than our previous hotel. Also we had an issue at the front desk as we reserved a certain room type and was then told we couldn't have it. It wasn't until late in the evening they were able to accommodate. Finally, they didn't have the ability to change currency. This was my first experience of this and I was a little disappointed.”

“The hotel is well located (I am staying here now), check-in service was horrible. I was received by a person who had not shaved in two days, no upgrade for a top Marriott member, no indications on services offered. The following day I spoke to the Front Office Manager who promised to find a solution to the above since he seemed to agree that I could have been treated better. I never heard from him again. It seems the hotel has a general service problem. Service at breakfast is very poor, my table was cleared twice one morning while I went back to the buffet, sometimes coffee is offered, other times not. The food is good. No water in room, unusual for a 4 star hotel today. First time I stayed here but will definitely look for a place that appreciates my business next time I'm Rome, hopefully before end of January.”
