Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. The staff was pleasant and helpful. It is close to the city center as well as other great attractions, restaurants etc. A really good modern hotel with all the amenities you could want, including cool rooms, plenty of space, and a very clean and tranquil setting. I wholeheartedly endorse!!!

Localização incrível,com piscina capaz de ver ao mesmo tempo a Torre do Relógio e a igreja de Santa Catarina. Não dou cinco estrelas pois o hotel é de fato quatro estrelas,faltando saunas, spas e outros serviços adicionais e possui um preço relativamente elevado. Mas para quem quer conforto e localização, esse é o lugar certo!

Não vale o preço que é cobrado que não é tão barato assim. Extremamente simples, sem diferencial nenhum. Arrumação demorada com reposicao de itens mesmo que tenham terminados, somente com solicitação. Toalhas velhas já desfiando nas bordas. Janelas do banheiro somente com vidro sem cortina ou elemento que traga privacidade junto aos imoveis vizinhos. Piscina fechada para manutenção no dia 01/01. Com certeza não retornarei.

Estive no período de 22 a 25 de Setembro com 8 pessoas, ocupamos 4 aptos duplos, foi maravilhosos, piscina ótima com uma vista perfeita, localização do hotel excelente, funcionários muito bem preparados e prestativos da recepção, camareiras e restaurante, cafe da manha ótimo, restaurante excelente, Parabéns a toda equipe.

Hotel muito bem localizado, no centro histórico de Cartagena. Equipe maravilhosa, se esforçam ao máximo para fazer da sua estadia a melhor possível. Restaurante muito bom, café da manhã bem completo e muito gostoso. Ressalva: um pouco de cheiro de mofo nos quartos de padrão básico, eu tive que pedir um upgrade para um quarto superior, este sim maravilhoso. No mais, recomendo.

I wouldn't consider this a 4 star hotel based on my experience. Maybe 3? They did accommodate me with the last room they had left but it must have been a joke. My room flooded and they blamed it on the design of the shower. I assumed it was because of the drain not working fast enough but if it was the design like they said, that is a huge problem. The mini bar was empty. No water was provided. I stayed at the NH collection in medellin and that felt that a true 4 star hotel. Maybe even 4.5. This one in cartagena felt like the illegitimate love child of an nh collections and a Motel 6. There are many places in cartagena. I don't think I'll be going to this one again. The worst part was there was no communication or care about my concerns. I mentioned it to the front desk. They didn't send anyone to fix it. The maid just put towels down likes fort and called maintenance to fix it. Upon checkout, the front desk was still surprised about the incident and didn't care at all. Also, the faucet was broken but it wasn't a huge issue. It was more cosmetic and annoying since it moved back and forth. I could go on...

Hotel has an A+ location, but needs to be updated. Pool need maintenance. If you're looking for a quiet place ,go somewhere else.

O hotel está muito bem localizado no centro da cidade histórica, no interior da Muralha. A equipe de colaboradores é habilidosa e muito atenciosa com os turistas e as refeições, principalmente o café da manhã, são hiper deliciosas. Não esquecendo das habitações que são super limpas diariamente. É um hotel de excelência.

Esto no es la categoría de un NH. Solo vale la ubicación siempre q te guste el ruido. Muebles viejos ,baños viejos ,sin un hall ni siquiera donde sentarse. La piscina un charco sin una tumbona dónde tomar el sol. Sres de NH el hotel está viejo. Urge reforma a mi parecer. Estropea la buena imagen de los NH

Recomendadisimo! Fui con mis amigas de vacaciones y la pasamos increíble, el personal es muy atento y servicial. La vista del atardecer en la terraza es el mejor plan para relajarse. Al igual que disfrutar de la hermosa piscina después de un día de playa... inigualable!!!

Un buen hotel urbano con habitaciones sencillas. La piscina de la cubierta es el secreto mejor guardado de Cartagena. Tiene vistas a la puesta de sol increíbles, la terraza de al lado tiene grupos en directo y casi es como si estuvieras allí pero sin agobio de gente y con mejores vistas ;-) El desayuno es muy bueno.

The staff was amazing especially the guys at the front desk, the housekeeping staff was awesome. From the restaurant to the roof top pool was amazing. Love the view from the hotel. My friends and I was waiting on like kings

Excelente ubicación, la zona muy agradable para caminar, con variedad de restaurantes cerca; el desayuno del hotel muy completo y rico, la amabilidad del personal tanto de recepción cómo de restaurante excelente. Volvería sin duda y lo recomiendo, sobre todo la vista de la piscina es espectacular.Frente a la torre del reloj.

Had a wonderful time at NH Cartagena Urban Royal, staff are very helpful and pleasant. Gabriel and Antonio were an amazing team to interact with. Courtesy and a smooth easy check-in. Customer service was exceptional. Its located literally in the center of everything. If you face the plaza or clock be aware it is noisy but what do you expect its right in the hub of everything. The pool rooftop had the most beautiful views ever. Restaurant inside service delicious food and at decent prices. The rooms are clean and modest similar to European Boutique Style. So know what to expect. In general NH Cartagena Urban Royal is worth staying at is conveniently located to all attraction, marina and a perfect tour pick-up location. Also near to Discovery which had fantastic deals on excursiones Alexis H. was an amazing representative and I felt completely safe and booked all 5 tours with him. I can only give positive recommendations about this hotel.

Great Staff. Very friendly and professional. They make the hotel feel very safe and welcoming. The area is very lively and full of action. Plenty to do from historical sites to bar hopping to eating an arepa on the street. The area is beautiful at night and during the day especially in the early morning. Banks and money exchanges are within 50 meters. Covid restrictions have the area shut down at around 10pm Monday - Friday, and 12 on weekends. I would definitely stay here again.
