“Accommodations clean, check in polite.
When I went to check out breakfast was closed. Got something from the pantry and asked the desk to put it on my food and beverage credit. She advised me that I wasn’t allowed and could only eat from breakfast(that was closed). I asked her why and she informed me that every property was a franchise and they could “do what they want”
I’m real confused as to why the food and beverage credit exists as it clearly says “we created this to give our travelers some options” What exactly were the options?
Seems like something that you should have also known up front seeing that you choose your MyWay benefits based on this decision.

“It was a mistake to choose this hotel. We chose this hotel because it is close to the hospital. When you enter the hotel, it smells old and damp. Immediately, I wanted to leave, but I had a sick child and I didn't want to disturb him by moving before surgery. The smell was even worse in the room where we were settled, plus the carpet had poorly been evicted. Whenever I breathed, I felt a sediment in my throat, a very unpleasant sensation, so I wanted to put the filter on my face. The windows cannot be opened and the air cannot even be vented. There was a very old renovation with popcorn on the ceiling, worn walls, stale mattresses, and low lighting that made the hotel seem very depressing. I was very disappointed with the Hilton. On the other hand, when I wanted to refuse to stay at the hotel, they told me that the manager was not there and that I would not receive a refund, despite the fact that it wasn't even 5 pm when I arrived. So the service and hospitality were not on an acceptable level for Hilton in my opinion.”
