“Stayed here last week and was pleasantly surprised by a few factors. In particular, 1 Queen Size bed for this price in NYC (esp at walking distance to Midtown) is a steal. My room was 325-350sq ft which is a TON of space in NYC hotel standards. Microhotels seem to be up-and-coming, & Shelburne's pricing is pretty competitive considering how a microhotel's teeny basic room would be similarly priced as their basic/standard room.Would recommend this hotel for travelers, out-of-towners from other states, & def companies/work trips.Bathroom: smaller than expected but clean, had all the essentials, &Main room: so so so much space, and the bed was very plush.Kitchen "room": not every hotel has a kitchen area with a SINK, or a freezer with ice. Was very happy about this as it made eating in my room convenient.Check-in: very easy/no complaints here. They also have text msg early arrival check-in, so it was an easy process.”
