“We had a great room on the 4th floor with a side view of the ocean and stayed from Mon-Sat. Always had a nice breeze, and enjoyed sitting on the balcony. The room had a king bed which was very comfortable. The pool is nice but the beach was perfect. The lounge chairs had umbrellas and cushions but is first come first serve unless you want to pay extra for a cabana. Wish they offered the cushions on the pool lounges too! Since we are here in “shoulder” season, it’s not crowded, though it does seem not everyone is a guest as they allow non-guests access to certain activities (beach yoga). We did not order any food at the pool or restaurant so can’t comment on that. There was also various improvements going on at the hotel, so had to smell paint in the hallway but I guess they figured do it now instead of at prime time. Did encounter a snotty kid at the beach who set up chairs but haven’t seen him again. Other staff were friendly and cordial, we opted out of housekeeping service and got a $20 credit to use as we chose from other services. Staff were wearing masks though most guests, including my (fully vaccinated) husband and I did not. We wore them on the plane and anywhere we were in close proximity of others for long periods of time. Since we were mainly outside, we felt safe. All in all it was a lovely vacation.”
