“We were very excited to stay her for my 50th.We got to the room (8th floor,Room 808 I believe) and there was a gross smell either coming from the rug or the bedroom, smelled like sweat/BO.We had lugged all of our stuff up and thought maybe if we wait a bit, the smell will go away - it didn't, then we saw a cockroach and had to leave.The room is very outdated and can easily be updated.Cabinets are very old, table has stains on it.It was really disappointing.I always stay at a Residence Inn in NY and it is spotless and the staff is amazing.No one really cared about our leaving/the roach or the smell.Will never go back here and will tell friends and family to stay far away.Not even sure why I am giving it any stars...”
