“When I went here it was nice and quiet and the beach is very nice and clean. I had no problems with the accommodation and the staff was friendly. However, the manager there was rude, especially to me. I can't remember her name, but she was a Russian woman and she made several rude comments to me the first day I arrived. If I hadn't met her the holiday would have been great, but unfortunately she ruined it within an hour of my arrival. I was quite shocked at her attitude especially during a time when tourism in Thailand is struggling, there was less than 10 rooms occupied during the week I visited. I would expect that during a rough time the manager would be careful and polite, unfortunately she was not. People like her are the reason why the world is so toxic these days. With so many beautiful resorts in the area I can't recommend this one especially after my experience.
Edit: I have received several emails and even a phone call regarding this issue, and I must say the way it is being looked at and investigated is very reassuring. The management has apologized and and done right thing by contacting me personally to resolve this issue. So I must say, even though my experience wasn't the best at this resort, they have proven to me that they genuinely care about their customers and will do whatever needs to be done to make your stay a pleasant one. So, with that I would like to highly recommend a visit to this resort.”

“There is not too much else to say concerning this resort rather than it has been unbelievable. From the moment we stepped onto the grounds of the resort we have been treated with excellence. I would even go as far to say that this has been the most luxurious vacation our family has ever had the privilege of going to in Thailand.Buffet breakfast options are wonderful, the buffet options over the weekend have been superb, and even the snacks we have had through the week have been a delight. Our three children gobbled up time in the kids club and the staff was extremely patient and caring to our kids.Lastly, what truly makes this location special is the staff. Khun Pooh was an exceptional server for our family and she remembered our names and most importantly our coffee orders. Furthermore, Khun Na was an amazing housekeeper and she did a lovely job lighting our oils in our bathroom every night for turn down service. In addition, Khun Na made the most wonderful towel animals. Head Chef Silvano was a joy to meet and he is doing an excellent job leading his crew here in Khao Lak.JW Marriott Khao Lak, thanks so much for a lovely week!”
