“Don’t let them give you a room at the end of the hall if you want ANY sleep. Apparently there’s a service elevator the staff use on the side of the building where my room was located (559). The elevator sounds like the kind of industrial elevator that could transport cars. You’ll hear the whir of the motor followed by a loud BOOM, presumably when it reaches a new floor, over and over and over and over again. And when you finally think it’s over and start to fall asleep a new loud knocking sound from the pipes will start. I know what you’re thinking, this is a review by an overly sensitive person and I won’t be bothered. Nope. Hotels are public places with slamming doors etc... that’s normal. These noises were not, and they were frequent and loud. I’m adding one star because it’s a short walk to Bourbon Street, but don’t think getting hammered will help you sleep because I tried that too. Good luck!”

“Rooms are fine. But the noise isolation is poor. You can hear every word of your neighbor. Plus: they are using the hotel as quarantine rooms for cruise workers. They will assign your room right next to them without letting you know beforehand. If you are traveling here recently avoid this hotel.”
