The hotel and room was very clean. The staff were friendly. Quick check in. Good location close to I-95 and not far from central Savannah. Would definitely stop by again if I'm ever in that area.

I was in room 222, which was located above the office. My son walked around in the hotel room and a woman called me saying the office was noisy and told me to go back to the room and be quiet. I cannot understand the hotel's staff telling the guests to be quiet because the staff's office is noisy. Furthermore, we were talked to in a very rude manner. Even though my son was not walking hard I had to tell him to be quiet in the hotel room. The employee said the building was shaking. If a building is shaking because of one child, it is a building problem. I have been using Hyatt for many years, but my family had a bad trip because of your staffs attitude. I don't want to use this hotel again and I will share my review for other guests who have children not to use this hotel.

Might want to look elsewhere. Very loyal to Hyatt and rarely a bad experience. This one is a bit sketchy. Very old and it shows, and smells. Our room had a smoke odor and was musty. Dirty vents, cobwebs from ceiling. Thank goodness we were only here 1 short night for 530am flight 8 minutes from the airport is it’s only appeal. Front desk staff was very friendly at checkin.

We spent 2 nights with our dog. We found the hotel itself to be just average while the staff was outstanding and the breakfast was above average for this type of hotel complimentary meals. Hallway carpeting needs replacement. They have a reasonable area for walking but nothing special for the pet. Tip: Don’t accept a room location on the back of the East side of the building. Noisy commercial kitchen fan, dumpsters and what appears to be permanent container storage can create more noise than appropriate.

Like any other place, there are some things that could be better. We were given a handicap room, even though we didn't request one. We stayed 4 nights and they serviced our room once. If you book a room with enough sleeping space for 6 people, why only provide 4 towels? You could hear the plumbing from neighboring rooms, which was a little annoying. Dogs barking through the night after driving 16 hours was extremely bothersome. Breakfast was okay, everything was the same every morning except they would change out the pancakes, to french toast sticks or to frozen biscuits. Right at 930, they were cleaning and putting food away. The first morning a worker advised they were short on bowls so my kiddos ate cereal out of a glass. No biggie but really a shortage on bowls? We finally got a drink at the "bar" the last night and the receptionist had no clue what she was doing. They were out of so many ingredients, the menu options kept getting smaller and smaller. Our room was clean for the most part, found a jolly rancher by the door that was stuck to the floor. The handicap folding bench was molding underneath. Only one remote control worked for 2 TV's. If we ever visit Savannah again, we will try the Hyatt off the River District.
