“Nice hotel but they are doing renovations. We were not told this when we booked. We requested an early check-in and a queen bed. Got two doubles and rolled eyes and told $30 charge for early check-in. Room changed to a king and told we would have a corner room so small window. Room clean and nice. Good bathroom and closet space. Did not get a chance to use the gym or pool but they look nice. Room has a tiny window any no natural light. See picture. Fridge does not work as no electricity to the unit. So we had no opportunity to keep food or drinks in our room. They tried to fix it twice but could not. Only offer is to move us. Really did not want to repack so let it go. No other offers. Few ice machines in the building working so you really have to work for ice. Lots of construction workers in the building so you may have to wait for an elevator. Also work up to drilling this morning. Not good after a night out. Staff at the restaurant were amazing and we so nice and helpful. I would give this place a skip. Not worth the price. Not impressed with desk staff.”

“I visited Holiday inn during high season and booked a week or so before my travel dates. Prices are very expensive but less than other hotels in the area. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff was very welcoming and offered a free breakfast voucher, suggested some activities to do based on on going festivals in the area. The breakfast was not very fancy but it was okay. I had past experiences with other hotels in the area better ranked than holiday inn but I must say they are marketing only and my experience with holiday inn was much much better.”
