“There is a saying, my house is clean enough to be healthy and dirty enough to be happy, and that is how I felt about this Clarion Inn location. It was a decent place and I would stay here again if I was in the area. The staff was pleasant, polite, personable and ready to help. The room that we stayed in was spacious (two queen sized beds) and worked well for a family with small kids. The facility seemed older, but with some new updates like whisper shut toilet lids. The bathrooms were clean, but the hotel provided three large towels for a family of four so we had to ask for one more. They had done some work on the bathroom sink in our room prior to us checking in but did not install the drain stopper properly which prevented the sink from draining, but a call to the front desk had the staff in motion. The amenities in the room was nice, and the small refrigerator allowed us to store food and drinks for our stay. There was also a microwave and TV. The room had its own HVAC system so you could easily control the temperature and keep your room at a temperature that you choose. Our unit worked well, but was older so the fan bearing squeaked every time the fan started, but by putting the fan in continuously on mode, that solved the problem. There was an indoor pool on site (no lifeguard) that went from a depth of about 3.5 feet to 5.5 feet. I believe that it had a salt filtration system as it did not burn your eyes if you did not have goggles on, although the pool water was not clear. It was great for elementary/middle school kids. The breakfast was what you would expect, make your own waffles, pastries, yogurt, some fruit, coffee, etc.. more food was put out on the weekends than on weekdays. The space was big for groups to physically distance easily. However, some of the tables were wobbly and needed some repairs. It was in a great location close to national parks, historic battlefields, trails, and white water rafting businesses. There was plenty of parking on site. If you are headed to Harpers Ferry, stay here and be merry. Have fun!”

“Buen lugar.
