Located on the seafront overlooking the idyllic beaches of Punta Cana, the Ocean El Faro is a newly built five-star resort that opened its doors in late 2018. It features water attractions including large swimming pools, a calm stream with a gentle current, ideal for relaxing and letting go, as well as a family area with a water park. The resort, located in the Uvero Alto area, also has spectacular rooms, a wide range of themed restaurants, a Despacio Spa Centre, Privilege, Exclusive Rooms and Services and a full programme of entertainment for the whole family. In July 2019, the hotel will open an exclusive area for guests 18 and over with specialized services and leisure activities.

“Good! When we got there we did not get the ocean view room in which we paid for. For the first night we were put into a lesser room. Our compensation, even after we had asked for compensation was a bottle of Dominican rum. In retrospect, and mathematically speaking the rum did not come close to covering the amount of money we were out by not getting the room that we paid for. The next day we were put intoour ocean view room and it was nice. I generally don't stay at five star all inclusive hotels, since I define myself as more of a traveler than a vacationer. This resort is new, and there were glitches here and there, which would be expected. The service is outstanding and friendly. The pools are fun. I had a great time here. A beautiful resort for those who like the five star all inclusive holiday.”
